LouAnna coconut oil

So this weekend I decided to purchase some coconut oil. My hair has been dying for some  additional moisture!. My friend told me that she has seen coconut oil at Walmart. So I bought some this weekend. I was afraid to use it so I hot the blogs. I mean like u get a huge tub of it for 6 bucks!. Many women said they use and but some said they prefer undefined oil. So I said what the hey....I'm going in....so I sectioned my hair and applied my shea moisture conditioner that I also purchased this weekend ( I kno I'm a total PJ) after applying the conditioner I scooped some coconut oil in my hand..BTW in case you don't know "coconut oil" will be solid until a certain temp. When u put it in your hand it will melt. So it has been about 10 minutes and my hair is totally noticably softer!. Definitely more so than with my olive oil. So this is definitely a keeper. Maybe once this is gone I will get some if the more expensive coconut oil. But for now LouAnna will work for me. The next oil will be Almond oil. I hear wonders about that too. Until next time - Honey B

My first blog....and hair detangle epic FAIL!

HEY! So my great great buddy Ky (who happens to be going to Cedar Point for her Bday! Hope its not raining like it is in Mi) well anyway, she started a blog. Now I have spent countless hours browsing the web and looking at other women's hair blogs...Well today I woke up this morning, 8 am, after an exciting Friday night of....wait for it...two glasses of wine, alone....dancing to beyonce, alone and of course reading this awesome book! Lol well I also co-washed my hair which I usually do 1-2 time a week(blog to come on what is co-washing in case you don't know). So this morning I woke up got in the shower and rinsed my hair...here comes the fail...so its time to detangle....Now I only comb my hair at most once a week,I know nap city, but low manipulation=retained length...OMG my hair was extremely tangled! U think because I didn't partially comb before going to bed and the fact that I'm 10 weeks post relaxer (The last year I've been doing 12 week relaxer stretches I want to get to 16 weeks but whoa!) I had so much hair loss...now I attribute it to normal hair shedding because I don't comb everyday....that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm trying not to freak out! I just have to remember that I always get a lot of hairs when I detangle. Plus anyone who has helped me with a perm knows my hair is super thick, and I have retained about 2 inches....So I am documenting my hair journey. Another Blogger beautiful flowers has inspired me her hair is gorgeous! Stay tuned!
